What we do

Our philosophy

Our goal is to work side by side with and support those in need of financial and emotional assistance during times of medical need associated with cancer diagnosis and treatments.

In order to successfully achieve this goal, we partner with individuals and businesses throughout the communities we serve to procure funds for this purpose. If you are currently a patient or primary caregiver who may qualify for our services, or know someone who is, we encourage you to submit an application for support here. Support Services

Transportation and Travel

These are expenses for gas, tolls, parking, taxis, bus, train or plane fares to get to and from appointments and treatment centers, often hundreds of miles away from remote rural communities, as well as hotel or other lodging and travel expenses.

Family and Living Expenses

Costs related to running a household and caring for family during cancer treatment, such as special accommodations in a home, childcare, elder care, and coping support.

Care giving, At-Home Care, & Long-Term Care

This includes any extra care a cancer patient may need, not covered by health insurance, such as hiring a person to prepare meals or drive the patient to medical appointments or extended care at a specialized facility or the assistance of a home health aide.

Employment, Legal and Financial Issues

Costs that arise when a person needs professional guidance on employment, legal or financial issues related to a cancer diagnosis, such as loss of wages, employment rights under the law, or end-of-life services.
